"Lord... give me the gift of faith to be renewed and shared with others each day. Teach me to live this moment only, looking neither to the past with regret, nor the future with apprehension. Let love be my aim and my life a prayer." ~Roseann Alexander-Isham

So Long...

Wow, it seems so so long ago when I last wrote anything and my life has been changing and grow nonstop on a daily basis. I think Facebook is where most small post get written and my blog then is forgotten, as well as my journal.

I still live in Wyoming as I write this, but moved farther West over the mountains.  I'm just so excited that God would have me be a part of what He is doing. My most recent move and me beginning to run (which is many blog entries in itself) have really been exactly what I have needed.  I feel ALIVE again!!!! A way I haven't felt in a long time....

Two sayings I've read again recently that have stuck out to me, or better yet have found their way upon my path again are the following:

"Thank you for the autumns in my life that have humbled me with their losses. For the winters that have strengthened me with their cold. For the springs that have renewed me with their sap. And for the summers that have given me an opportunity to share the fruit you have cultivated in my life." From 'Moments with the Savior' by Ken Gire

And, I loved that recently a friend wrote this: "If you were an apple, you would be the one all the way up at the top of the tree. The biggest, brightest red, by far the best apple on the tree." Then wrote, " Why is it you have not been picked yet?".

This reminded me of the following: "Apples and Wine"

Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Now men..... men are like fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the best out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

I leave today with the best quote describing me at the moment:  "When I run I feel His pleasure." by Eric Liddell..... the whole quote is "God made me for a purpose, He also made me fast, but when I run I feel His pleasure."
