I continue to be in awe of GOD..... how He works and keeps putting Himself before me. The past couple of days have been thoughts of what my "job" has in store for me next year, and again I've been thinking of and missing someone dearly.... so I have been praying, seeking, and asking GOD....
What do I do in these times, I trust and wait with hope..... This past year truly has been a growing time, a drawing closer to GOD. It has been a time where my Faith has revealed so much. I'm Trusting GOD more than I ever have before.... it all has brought this beautiful Peace to my heart that only comes from HIM!!!!
And how is it HE replies back to me.... Well this morning I received an email of encouragement that used Psalm 46:10, "Be still, and Know that I am GOD"..... and then tonight at Life Group we were encouraged to find and listen to John Waller's song "While I'm Waiting", which was a song someone shared with me this past summer when GOD was first bringing "Be still, and Know I am GOD" while "Waiting with Hope" to my journey as words of encouragement, strength, and of HIS Love for me....
I do love HIM so.... Here are the words to that song:
I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait
I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience
While I’m waiting
I will serve You
While I’m waiting
I will worship
While I’m waiting
I will not faint
I’ll be running the race
Even while I wait
I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it’s not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting on You, Lord
~John Waller
This started as my online journal of the journey GOD was taking me on to teach in Seoul, South Korea and now continues with where HE is leading me after there. My goal in life is to have my life reflect Christ, sometimes without ever even having to say a word. After all, the best gift we have to share is who HE has created us to be.
"Lord... give me the gift of faith to be renewed and shared with others each day. Teach me to live this moment only, looking neither to the past with regret, nor the future with apprehension. Let love be my aim and my life a prayer." ~Roseann Alexander-Isham
